Monitoring Strategies and Tools to address knowledge gaps on aquatic Fungal biodiversity

MoSTFun is a Biodiversa+ funded project that aims at including aquatic fungi (i.e. fungi living in freshwater and marine ecosystems) in routine biodiversity monitoring programs. Aquatic fungi play crucial roles for ecosystems functioning as saprotrophs and parasites, but they are overlooked in current monitoring programmes.
